Engineer Cap in Gray Weft

Engineer Cap in Gray Weft Engineer Cap in Gray Weft Engineer Cap in Gray Weft Engineer Cap in Gray Weft Engineer Cap in Gray Weft Engineer Cap in Gray Weft

Classic shop cap worn by brakemen and railroad engineers for decades.  This one is a prototype I made that uses the same construction techniques and stitch types as a vintage 1940's shop cap / engineer cap.  For the fabric I've used a gray weft 2x1 selvedge denim from Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC.

Each cap is cut from an original Circle A Brand pattern and sewn entirely on vintage industrial sewing machines.

  • Cone Mills 2x1 selvedge denim
  • Unbreakable canvas bill
  • Made in Asheville, North Carolina
  • Prototype - it is one-of-a-kind

For best results rinse cap in cold water, ring out, and wear dry.
