Inspired by 1910's-1920's railroad clothing, this lightweight denim chore coat features strong triple-needle seams, lined pockets, a functional "safety" watch pocket, and bartacks on all stress points.
The fabric is a Japanese 2x1 denim from Kurabo Mills that's been cold rinsed and line dried. It's already soft and comfortable and will certainly improve with age.
This fit is my favorite fit so far; a slightly slimmed down version of the oversized cut of a vintage chore coat, but still with enough room for a few layers underneath.
Cut from an original Circle A Brand pattern and sewn using a vintage industrial sewing machines.
